Pitt State’s original Family and Consumer Science Building was in dire need of replacement. The new building was designed to serve a number of academic disciplines including fashion design, interior design, and culinary arts. The facility also incorporates a daycare for teaching and functional purposes.
This 17,400 square foot, two level classroom building houses the family and consumer science program. The building is located on the campus “quadrangle” and is a replacement for an existing building which had to be razed due to mold contamination.
