Chapel Hill’s 23 acre site provides a showcase location for their chapel on a hill, visible for thousands of people who drive by every day. The prairie style of the chapel is unique, featuring native Kansas limestone and western red cedar woodwork in a linear, symmetrical, and traditional chapel form. Clerestory stained glass windows and exposed steel trusses create a dynamic and dramatic interior.
The 21,600 square foot worship center offers a 400-seat sanctuary with a 65 foot tall bell tower, two child care classrooms, and an administrative office area. The upper level includes a prayer room and classroom while the lower level contains classrooms with a walkout feature to the exterior.
